Cree8 will be hosting a THREE-DAY drum-making, drumstick & song workshop - March 30, 31 & April 1, 2018
Friday, March 30, 2018
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Blessing ceremony, smudge and teachings.
Cutting the hide and soaking overnight.
Saturday, March 31, 2018
1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Opening prayer and smudge.
Sharing stories, legends & history of the drum.
Making and stringing drums.
Sunday, April 1, 2018
Drumsticks & Songs

Drum Opening Ceremony & Potluck Feast
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
All are welcome to drumming
*Everyone is Welcome for the Drum Circle. Additional Drums and percussion will be available to play.
*We will have coffee, tea, water, juice, and snacks. Let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Rawhide – Deer, Elk, Moose, or Buffalo for the drum face
Lacing – Rawhide (Precut)
Drum Rounds – 8”, 10”, 12" or 14" Yellow Cedar
Larger Drum Rounds of 16", 18", 20", 22", 24", 26", 28" and 30" are available upon request for an additional cost to cover materials, please contact Chantal for further information.

If you would like to attend only the drumstick making and songs, Sunday, April 1, the cost for materials is $25/Drumstick
