Cree8 will be hosting a THREE-DAY drum-making, drumstick & song workshop - December 8, 9 & 10, 2017
Friday, December 8, 2017
6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Blessing ceremony, smudge and teachings.
Cutting the hide and soaking overnight.
Saturday, December 9, 2017
1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Opening prayer and smudge.
Sharing stories, legends & history of the drum.
Making and stringing drums.
Sunday, December 10, 2017
Drumsticks & Songs

Drum Opening Ceremony & Potluck Feast

4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
All are welcome to drumming
*Everyone is Welcome for the Drum Circle. Additional Drums and percussion will be available to play.
*We will have coffee, tea, water, juice, and snacks. Let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Rawhide – Deer, Elk, Moose, or Buffalo for the drum face
Lacing – Rawhide (Precut)
Drum Rounds – 8”, 10”, 12" or 14" Yellow Cedar
Larger Drum Rounds available upon request for an additional cost to cover materials, please contact Chantal for further information.
